Payments and Scholarships
Please follow the following steps to pay for the field camp deposit and balance in PAWS.
1. Log into PAWS (paws.gsu.edu)
2. Click the Finances tab
3. Click the "View/Pay Account" link in the "My Bill" box, and a new window for PantherPay will open
4. When in PantherPay, click the “eDeposits” tab at the top
5. Select the term Summer 2017 from the drop down list
6. Select COSTA RICA from the next drop down list
7. Enter the amount you want to pay
8. Select the payment method and follow the rest of the prompts to submit the payment (you can pay with a web check or credit card)

University-wide Study Abroad Scholarships
There are a multitude of scholarship options for study abroad! In addition to the resources listed below, please make sure to download the Scholarship Resource Flyer, which gets updated at least once a semester with deadline information and new scholarship opportunities as we’re made aware of them. It’s a great cheat sheet to see which scholarships you may be eligible for and when the applications are due! You’ll also find several scholarships to apply for through the website, including the ones detailed below. Additionally, the GSU Scholarship Resource Center has a database of hundreds of scholarships cataloged on their website. You can also stop by their office in person at 251 Sparks Hall to see what resources they have for study abroad scholarships. Another resource for study abroad scholarships is studyabroadfunding.org, a study abroad scholarship search engine.
International Education Fee (IEF) Scholarship
The International Education Fee (IEF) Scholarship is open to students enrolled in degree or certificate programs who will be earning credit for an experience abroad. The minimum institutional GPA is 2.75 for undergraduates and 3.2 for graduate students.

Global Experiences Scholarship (GES)
The Global Experience Scholarship (GES) is open to students receiving need-based financial aid. The minimum institutional GPA is 2.75 for undergraduates and 3.5 for graduate students.

Kortney Easterly Cosmopolitan Scholarship
The Kortney Easterly Cosmopolitan Scholarship is open to all full-time, undergraduate students at GSU with a minimum GPA of 3.0; preference is given to students who have never traveled abroad. Recipients must be enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a credit-bearing study abroad or international internship during the summer term. This award is generously sponsored by Kortney Easterly, an alumna of GSU and GSU Study Abroad! For more information & to apply online, click here.
First Generation Study Abroad Fellowship
The First Generation Study Abroad Fellowship is a $2000 scholarship from the Study Abroad Programs Office for the Maymester/Summer term. First generation, degree-seeking GSU students in good standing are eligible to apply. A first generation student is defined as a person whose mother and father did not complete a 4-year college degree. For more information & to apply online.
Coca-Cola Global Ambassador Scholarship
The Coca-Cola Global Ambassador Scholarship is open to first generation college students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at GSU. Preference is given to Robinson College of Business students and students with little international experience. The minimum institutional GPA for undergraduate students is 2.75 and the minimum institutional GPA for graduate students is 3.0. Applicants must be accepted to or in the process of enrolling in a credit-bearing study abroad program. Awards range from $1500 - $2500 based on the length of the program. Mary Lou Grabbe Memorial Scholarship
Open to Honors students of any major who are in good standing in the Honors College, the Mary Lou Grabbe Memorial Scholarship is a $1000 award in support of Honors College students enrolling in a credit-bearing study abroad or international internship program.
